Short BIO
 

Charles Chang is a currently a member of the finance faculty at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and National Taiwan University, and serves as research fellow for the National Science Council in Taiwan. He has spent six years on the professorial faculty at Cornell University after receiving a PhD in Finance from the Haas Business School at the University of California Berkeley. He was also a decorated scholar at the University of Pennsylvania where he earned bachelors degrees in electrical engineering and finance at the Wharton School of Business. His research spans the fields of investments, corporate finance, and behavioral finance with a focus on emerging markets. Dr. Chang has presented work at some of the most prestigious conferences in the field, has served as visiting scholar on numerous occasions including at Academia Sinica and Peking University, and has been noted in more than 200 media outlets with work published in top journals such as the Journal of Financial Economics, the Journal of Corporate Finance, and the Journal of International Money and Finance. He has been featured as a Who’s Who of American Educators since 2006.

Also, Dr. Chang has acted as Managing Partner for PM Legacy Capital, a privately-held investment management entity that has managed funds and provided investment consulting services for clients in the US and Asia, since 2000. He has also worked in the fields of equity research and principal investing for Jardine Fleming and Lehman Brothers.
