钱军教授现任上海交通大学上海高级金融学院金融学教授,DBA/EMBA/EE项目主任,还担任中国金融研究院副院长公司金融研究中心主任。 在他全职返回中国任教以前担任波士顿学院卡罗尔管理学院金融系终身教授。


钱军教授的研究包括理论和实证公司金融、金融机构等领域的许多课题。他在国际顶级学术刊物如American Economic Review美国经济评论, Journal of Finance金融学杂志, Journal of Financial & Quantitative Analysis 金融及量化分析杂志, Journal of International Economics国际经济学杂志 等发表多篇论文。他最具影响力的论文之一发表于2005年的Journal of Financial Economics 金融经济学杂志。在这篇论文中,他与合著者阐述了在没有强有力的正规机构或有效的、标准金融体系(包括股票市场和银行业)的环境下,中国如何取得惊人的经济增长。这篇文章引发了大量对非正规的治理机制及融资机构在促进中国和其他发展中国家经济增长过程中所起作用的研究。钱军教授先后参与了《谈中国巨大的经济变迁》、《新兴的世界经济巨头:中国和印度》、《作为新兴的金融市场:中国面临的机遇与挑战》、《对法治法规的全球性展望》等多部专著中有关中国和别的发展中国家的金融体系发展的章节的编写工作。


钱军教授是国际一流学术杂志Review of Finance金融评论 的副主编,宾夕法尼亚大学沃顿商学院金融机构中心的研究员,和美国金融学会和西部金融学会会员。他在亚洲知名的金融会议,中国国际金融会议,开创之初即加入其组织委员会,并从20082010年担任大会联席主席。他是中国金融暑期研究院的创始人之一,同时担任全美中国金融协会(美国最大的华人业界金融协会)的主要学术顾问。他还担任过麻省理工学院斯隆管理学院,宾夕法尼亚大学沃顿商学院、清华大学经济管理学院、上海财经大学、上海国家会计学院和中山大学岭南学院的访问和客座教授。

 

钱军教授于2000年获得宾夕法尼亚大学经济金融学博士学位。他从爱荷华大学(University of Iowa)获得经济学本科学位,并在1988到1991年就读于复旦大学世界经济系本科。
